then let them, if you care about her at all you wont care what your family says, let them disown you, what did black people ever do to them? or are they stuck in the 1800s where they think slavery is still legal. dont give a f*ck what they say, do what you feel is right. no matter what theyll still love you even if they disown you. tell them the truth but be prepared for the worst.

If you love the woman you are going to share a child with, then you may just have to make that incredibly difficult decision... which do you side with?

If you're not emotionally attached to this "black girl", whom you don't seem to even give much of a title to other than racial based and not relationship status, I get the vibe that maybe it was an "oops" baby. In that case, it might just be best to not tell anyone, but I would of course hope you would at least support the child in any way, even if just partial financial responsibility. (Men love that word)

However, if you are thinking that you might want to live your life with this woman and make a family out of it, then you need to tell your parents and accept the consiquences, knowing that you're the better person for not being racially discriminitory, and that you hold true to your responsibilities in life, eventhough life doesn't always throw you a sack of gold and a viper.

The best thing you can do if they DO "disown" you is to remain loving towards them. Send them Holiday cards when appropriate, drop them an email to let them know you are doing well and hope the same for them, and just be a good person about it. Because you've made this choice in life, you should be happy with yourself and continue to live life, even if your parents don't always approve.
Lord knows the rest of us have all done something that our parents thought was horrible... but it's not really up to them. You're your own person.

Good luck

I guess that s a risk you will have to take. If you are prepared to do the right thing by this girl and your child, then you will have to face your family's disapproval. You don't say how you feel about your partner in this. Hopefully you will be close enough that you can weather this storm together.

Just flat out tell them. I sure hope you are old enough to take care of the baby, also yourself. I do not look for them to be to happy no matter what color she is. Good Luck!!

Let them disown you if that's what it takes. You can't let stupidity run your life too.

you tell them you got a girl pregnant...then tell them she's black and you don't give a **** that they have a problem with her being black or not...they should just be thinking of an innocent baby...
