i've known my brothers best friend forever (we all grew up together) now since i'm older i relized how much i love him, how can i tell him without hurting our relationship as friends or my brothers and my relationship

You should walk very careful in the entire matter. One false move could end not only your relationship with this guy, but his relationship with your brother as well. Then your brother may have some grips towards yourself. I would soul search and make sure its a mutual thing prior to expressing your thoughts. There are cases when relationships such as yours has blossom into the best situation. However; there are times when things have failed. Good luck and just make sure the feelings are mutual and not one sided.

no harm in talking. let your brother know how your feel first before revealing your secret, maybe your brother knows how this guy really is and always 'puts on a show' when he's front of you. Make your bro understand that you want to be the one that talks to the bf and not for him to let the cat out of the bag...so to speak. Once you and your bro are cool, proceed to the bf. Go to a queit setting and spill your guts. If you don't, you'll always wonder and see what happens next. The results could be great then again they could be bad, but there's no harm to talking.

Well thats tough, because your relationship will change, and that is a natural thing, for it to stay the same in unatural. but it should not change your relationship with your brother. It may change thier relationship though.
But having said that a friendship iis a great place for love to start. It is a sound foundation to build a relationship on.

Wow, I have no brothers but I have heard they aren't down with the idea of their little sister or older sister going out with their friends cause if his friend hurts you in any way then he has to choose and he will obvioulsy choose you. Just reasurre him how much you like his friend and that he would never do anything and who better to go out with than with someone who knows your brother and has grown up with you guys. The more you are with a person andgrow with so does your aprreciation for them and are less likely to hurt them. Good luck :)!

When my friend was in first grade, herboyfriend was her bro's BFF too. They used to have "Private time" where they used to just hold hands and tell each other how inlove they were. (Even though they didn't understand yet.) I bet he likes you back. Tell him, or just kiss him on the cheek and run away. He'll get the pic. If you two end up as a couple, tell your brother too. Just be honest with him. If you don't tell him, you will always wonder what might have been. If you tell him and he doesn't return the affection at least you will know for sure and eventually move on. IF he does return the affection, you will be able to explore a new side of your relationship.

If he is giving off signals then you might want to take it slow. I had the same problem with a friend that i grew up with. I told him I liked him and he said that was ok but he didn't want to settle down and have a girl friend. We are still friends but we don't make any sexual or relationshipy type moves.

try telling your brother first how you have feelings for his friend. If he taked it well then t ell the guy you love. If he cant accerpt it just think you did your part of telling him now its all on him.
