Easiest is probably the Atkins diet for those who like meat for a while then you are sick of it. The best is probably one at a center like Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers where you have someone to help and motivate you.

Pick the one best for you. It is mostly NOT your fault, that you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world soon surpassing hunger and infectious disease. So you are a victim of this pandemic (epidemic).

You need to re-learn how to eat. Learn everything on site below so you can understand how food and exercise affects your body. Do this and you can be thin. Do this not, and you will remain part of the biggest pandemic in all of history. Due to this pandemic, for the first time in 100 years, the children of Americans have a lower life expectancy than their parents.

If you contact me with your email address, I will gladly give you a diet based on Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem (unfortunately, yahoo answer's email system doesn't have enough "characters" to allow me to send the diet through them). You can do it yourself at home. You won't need to measure anything or count calories. It is all already proportioned. It involves all food groups and is based on 1250 calories. Very healthy. I have shared it with many askers on yahoo answers. It is so easy!

I found that if I skip breakfast, eat a low calorie lunch and a small dinner, I lose weight. I fill my plate in the kitchen and then take it away from the food, which limits seconds.
