veggie. All life on the planet needs vegetation to survive. Any combo of rice and beans makes a complete protein. which replaces the need for meat. Of which can also be replaced by fish. But do not forget to eat the rest of your vegetables.

Vegetarien or vegan or raw foodist, they are all healthier then eating animal protein (except some fish is good). When a person takes in animal protein, their body has to take all the lines of protein that that animal produced from whatever fruits vegetables and other animals it ate and readdjust it to suit human needs. All this takes massive amounts of energy; much more than gets replenished by the protein. In fact, that is a big reason why some people never really feel full even after a steak. It is also why you get super tired after some large meals. On the other hand, when you eat food that has unprocessed proteins (belive it or not, greens have a ton, compared to regular non-leafy vegetables) and sugars and good carbs, your body gets the most for the amount it takes in. It is also eaiser for it to obtain it and use it faster. Thats why apples are good for if you a having difficulty staying awake during the day, for example. Plus, you almost never get saturated fat from a veggie lifestyle. Fish is the only animal protein that proves good for all humans, because of vit D and omega-3s. You just can't get enough of what you need from other sources besides the sun, and only if you live in a warmer climate at that.

I believe that it depends on a personal preference and lifestyle...if we do choose to eat EITHER...OR, it means that we have the resources to choose from. Some people have no choice in what they have to fill their stomachs. E.g., those who were forced to eat wallpaper during the dark times of World War II.

Either is fine, but the healthiest way is to be sure that the foods you are eating is organic. The hormones and pesticides are what makes foods harmful.

Also, stick to whole foods.. avoid processed food at all costs.
