I know a guy who has found a lump in his left ball and it has turned out to be tangled veins. Does this affect his ability to have a baby and can it be fixed?

my first thought was that the veins being tangled could cut off the blood supply to sperm and its making them weaker or not produce at all. could this be true?

What would happen if he did not get it fixed from surgery? How long would it take of having this problem to completely ruin his chances of having kids?

He probably has vericose veins. It isn't that uncommon. He needs to see a fertility specialist. No one on Yahoo answers can give you a definitive answer

I've had the same problem. What your friend probably has is torsion in the scrodem. If this continues it will affect him from being able to have children. You need to tell him to go to a doctor immediately. They will probably have to do surgery to untangle his testicles from his veins. If all goes right he should still be able to have children. Just tell him to make sure his doctor has a lot of experience in the matter. Don't want to take the risk.

Epidedimitis is a serious condition and can affect sterility. If he gets medication it can be healed but I dont know the longterm damage. He needs to ask his doctor. Mind you...even guys with one testicle can make babies..didnt you see Sex & the City?

He should ask a doctor, and get back to you on that. If he hasn't asked a doctor, he may not be concerned with that issue. Which means you shouldn't either.
