2days after the procedure i started to work but the next day (3rd da) I felt dizzy the whole day from the time I wakeup. Does it mean i'm experiencing an infection/pus on extraction site? I started 625mg co-amoxiclav antibiotic just the night i started feeling dizzy. I am just about to see my dentst today since he's been o vacation since my dizzines started.

An inner ear infection can be a cause of dizziness. Since you have had a wisdom tooth extracted there is a chance this could be the cause particularly if it was your upper wisdom tooth. Your dentist should have a referral service even if away on vacation. Definitely seek further medical advice all the same

I had my wisdom teeth extracted 2 months ago. I was taking amoxicillon. I was also dizzy for the few days following, and developed a minor ear infection, which I'm prone to anyway.

It could be several things - one - you should have been taking your antibiotics since day 1. two-your body had minor surgery and may be in a little shock still and just needs rest. three - i ate less when i had my teeth out, so if you are being active without eating a lot then you coulod just need some protein/carbs. It doesn't mean you have an infection - if it's oozing and is super red then yes, you could have an infection. YOu should be able to call your dr.'s office and talk to a nurse or something in the mean time.

have you ever had an allergic reaction to penicillin? the medication you have been prescribed does contain penicillin,
so that may be a possibility worth checking into. i am highly
allergic to penicillin and have had a similar experience, or the
wisdom teeth may have been abscessed before they were ex-
tracted in which case they should have given you antibiotics
to clear the abscess before they were extracted, and you may
have developed an infection from this. hope this suggestion
helps you.
