I spent 2 years studying and reading the koran and islam, because i thought that its a good religion and wanted to convert to it. but the prophet's life style is disgusting. how can any sane human being convert to a religion such as islam thats led by a man who,
had sex with a 9 year old girl
who had so many wives
who had so many men and women murdered?

now muslims and some western apologists may come out with excuses such as pointing to the times that mohomed lived. but as a thinking person i will not accept such pathetic and weak excuses. crimes are crimes no matter who committed them or when it was committed. am i right?

Islam is based on war. Of course it is evil. But that is just the view point of this Hindu.

No. it is not a crime if you win. The losers are the criminals. But let's get something straight. How many hundreds of thousands of people were killed in the name of Christianity? Of Judaism? It is going on as we speak. I imagine other world religions have just as bloody a record. so don't single out one man and say that his religion is wrong. He had many wives? In this country, a man has one wife and countless girlfriends. Is this better? I can't comment on his 9 yr old bride because I don't know anything about that.
Actually, the Koran has a lot of really cool ideas. On a time line, it is the most modern of the three major Western religions. It does not allow slavery as in the old testament. It does not have hundreds of contradictions as in the new testament. It has to have a lot going for it because it is the fastest growing religion on the planet. Something must attract the people to it.

Not at all, and this is coming from a Christian and an American. The perversion of this religion by a militant few to stir up the emotions of a large number of "believers" as presented in sound bites on the news is what has caused normally sane people to act ignorantly. This was seen before in our history when they illegally and immorally herded loyal Japanese American out of their homes and into "relocation" camps, where the suicide rate was awful. People we given three days to sell their belongings and report to the trains. And yet, this was somehow justified at the time. Horrible what ignorance and fear does to people.

well, when we come to such questions weighing between cultures you judge them based on your own cultural background. if you think what he did was wrong, basically nothing can change your opinions because they're all based on your central background. muslims obviously think he did proper things. in fact, since all cultures are different, they are bound to come into conflict, and their members inevitably disagree with each other. if i am not a muslim, then i say that i disagree with islam not only because i think mohammed has done bad things (e.g. marry a young female) but also because i think the religion is fundamentally flawed. if i am not a christian, then i say that i disagree with christianity not only because i think jesus has done bad things (e.g. condemn a tree and its family line for not giving him fruit) but also because i think the religion is fundamentally flawed. if i am not a secular atheist, then i say that i disagree with atheism because it is fundamentally flawed in its doctrine and rationality. i can go on. as a final comment, i must say that since i am not a muslim (and particularly because my general cultural group is now in direct enmity against more or less extreme muslims i.e. pakistan), i do not approve of islam. you may say differently, and from an objective point of view, you are entitled to that opinion, and there is no single correct answer. the hero strikes again!

My friend you said that you have learned Islam for 2yrs its hard to believe that after reading you conculision.

Why I say I don't believe you is because you have same question which all anti-Islamic site have, you just copied and pasted them. If you learned Islam with Islamic Scholars all those questions should have been answered because they are clear cut.
