Yes. Walk a couple of miles a day. Or every other day. Jog this mileage if you can stand it. And if you are healthy enough. Even lift some weights. But no more than your capable of. Eat less too. Give yourself a day off between workouts too if you go this way. As your body does need rest between workouts in order to grow and to prevent injuries from working out. Remember also that the smaller a person is the less calories they need. A hundred and fifty pound person needs for example 2000 calories a day to maintain 150 lbs. This formula goes up and down proportionately depending on your own body weight. Remember to eat a wide variety of healthy foods ALSO REMEMBER THAT ONLY TWO OR THREE POUNDS A WEEK IS ADVISEABLE BECAUSE YOU CAN LOSE VITAL NUTRIENTS TOO QUICKLY. Good luck.

a person should only lose 1-2 pounds a week to be healthy. anything more than that is too much. but this is also only relevant to ppl who are not obese or otherwise unhealthily overweight.
