Yes, here is why.
Foxwoods
Slightly bigger in some areas. Awesome at slots.
- note: the Pequots were a waring tribe. They made trouble for white settlers and with other Native American Tribes. But they have worked very hard to first develop their BINGO, then build their well run casino.
Mohegan Sun Casino
This has an atmosphere more like home. They have a more native American appearance
- note: the Mohegan tribe has always been known as a peace loving group. They worked very hard to build a respectable casino, without the help of the Mafia or other outsider money. Instead, they developed a public stock corporation to become one of the worlds first publicly traded corporations. Mohegan Sun is also very well known for their generosity toward charitable groups throughout the region.
I have been to Foxwoods only once, but to Mogehan Sun many times. Foxwoods sits nicely along the Thames River, just south of Norwich.

I am from Massachusetts but I frequently travel to Ct. I like Foxwoods better. I can't stand how ugly Mohegan Sun looks. The outside is totally too modern and the inside is so rustic looking that it looks as if it should have dirt on the floor and its dark. I get much better energy and winnings at Foxwoods.
