I have always LOVED The Detroit Tigers (even in 2003 when they lost 119 games).

The Detroit Tigers are a charter member of The American League...and before that (pre 1900's) had a team in the National League (known as the Wolverines).

I rate The Tigers a perfect 10.

The MAIN REASON is, of course, they STILL have the BEST record in MLB at this point.

This year they have a good mix of seasoned veterans and talented young players...throw in one of the best managers in todays game, and VIOLA!

Not saying they will maintain this the rest of the season....even if they play .500 balll the rest of the season they would win 94 games.

That should be good for the wild card.

However, The White Sox are the team to beat in the AL.

The yankees and red sox are toast, history, yesterdays news, has beens, no longer "the premere" teams of the AL.

American League
Chicago White Sox
I rate them a 9, they are really putting together a nice win streak, and are still the team to beat in Major League Baseball

Even though I have been watching them religiously for months now, I love the Astros, a national team. I don't know how to legitimately rate them, but if we are talking how much I like them... I give them a 10.

National League
Cincinnati Reds
I would rate them a 5 right now. They need pitching very badly, especially in the bullpen. I love them anyway. Die-hard fan for 31 years.
