men should learn what it's like to run a house

food shoping etc....
find out where the money gose
have better respect hopefully for his wife and family

The mom should bond with the child for the first two years then if she wants to work and dad stay home that should be fine.

I would love for men to do this more often because they (most men) don't understand just how much HAS to get done during the day of the average stay ot home mother. I know I would love to get back into the working world other than part time jobs I haven't worked full time since my son was born 7yrs ago.

I think it is based on facts discussed between both parents. Who is most likely to make the most money, will Mr. be as happy being Mr. Mom or feel less valued, these are avenues that must be faced before doing anything of the kind, must research this first..

I know several that do and do so successfully. Among all the benefits the best one is the bond they form with their children, and appreciation in general for the majority of women who do this. As Martha Stewart would say "It's a good thing".

well I want the traditional home where I stay at home and my husbands the bread winner but I think men need to understand that it IS a job and your not sitting on your *** all day doing nothing I guess It's whatever works for the individual

depends on several different things money , time and sch, transportation; some women like it also it gets dad to know how her routine and just how much a job it is at home
