I'm moving from NY to AZ and needed to know about this subject. I have worked in a high rise building in NYC for three years and I have my New York CFC license. Will a license or experience help me? I'm only 26, love the industry, and can't wait to get there to start work.

The licence requirements are the same (national law), but the method for attainment is different in each state, and a licence in one does not automatically equal permission to work in another. The government department of licencing will take your NY licence into account, and it will factor into their bias when testing you. whether that bias will be in your favour, or improve the expectation and thus the difficulty is another story, and also varies from person to person and state to state. Just be really nice to them, and they will likely reciprocate.
