Did it result in psychological trauma or have you gotten past it?

Yes, and I never was traumatized. My neighbors dog bit me when I was about 8 and My dad was a cop and I was wandering around the police dogs and he wasn't watching me and I tried to pat one. I got bit, My horse bit me acouple of times, My neighbors horse kick me in the leg, THAT HURT, My dogs, cats, and my rat. Every one need medicine sometime and no one likes it! My Ball python got over excited one day as I was dropping a mouse in and she missed the mouse and got my thumb. I have a nasty oversexed male dove that will peck me when I don't allow him to do disgusting depraved things to my bare foot. Oh yeah the one thing I am leery of is large Birds, They can do some serious damage and they are unpredictable! I guess I have a little fear about large parrots, or may be a healthy respect!

I've been attacked by a rooster, pecked by a hen, bitten by a goose -- but the WORST was getting sprayed by a skunk! No lasting trauma, although the skunk-stink lasted a while...

I was attacked by a large dog, when I was very little. It frightened me at the time, but no trauma ensued.

yes. but the psycological trama wasn't mine. i was about 4 or 5 years old and was in the habit of going naked, much to the embarrassment(pun intended) of my mother and granny. there was a small dog there in the house named jeannie. she was a chihuaua. i tormented this dog every minute she was in the house.
one day i saw her on the couch, took a run and jumped on her. that was the most painful mistake i had made up till then. jeannie bit my beautiful little peedy. she only got one of her tiny fangs in so everything turned out alright.

I was bitten by my own horse about 30 years ago. I sold it and have always hated horses since.

Yeah, cats, dogs, once a squirrel tried to bite me, and a few horses.

No biggie, they are just being animals. We have dominion over them, ya know, so you just have to put them in their place.
