If you have the service "Ask a Nurse" in your city, you may want to call that service. If not, call an Urgent Care center and ask to speak to a nurse or a doctor. You may need to have more than just advice from the Yahoo Answers.

If you mom has a doctor, you may want to get a call in soon. She shouldn't be dehydrated. Have you tried chicken broth or tea?

Good luck. I hope your Mom feels better.

Daniela, I feel your pain. Been there, done that and have learned a lot. When our loved ones are sick, we do all that we can. Sometimes things seem to turn for the worse.

You are not helpless though because of the time in which we live. It is very important to find some real Corral Calcium and give it to her. Get it from the internet or a trusted health food store. If it comes from Japan, it is the real thing.

Also "Xango" Juice will give her more life. You cannot simply find it at a health food store, for it comes from Thailand. Look on the internet at xango.net. When I could no longer do anyghing for my mother, I insisted that the nursing home give her my supplement of choice. As long as they administered it as scheduled, my mother was doing wonderfully. They began to get lazy and not give it to her, and she went down hill fast.

(The following is also good advice) Find someone, a minister or counselor, who can walk her though some of the pain of her past. Arthritis is a sign of repressed hurt and unforgiveness. I know of one lady in the Bahamas who released deep seated issues and was cured of athritis. I am being sincere with you, for you are important to me.

Sounds like you need to call her doctor. Dehydration can happen quite rapidly in the elderly.
