We are moving together on January and 2 months have already passed since i moved to the sates(she is in South America), so we still hvae like 6m more motnhs to go. The calls kinda decreased and since the VOIP phone we started talkign alot and now I think I want more time to tlak on the phone...Like at least an hour per day. Sometiems we get to talk only 15 -30 mins per day..txct messages though...but still

With your personal experience, do u think 30n minutes it's ok per day? I think it's too little :( Any help.
Oh yeah, and she is going to go on a trip to europe so we won't be able to tlak that foten....i thin..since she'll have alot of her frienmds there/.

I don't know I just think it's too little...it scares me... I'm the emotional one as u can see.. LOL...she is 19 and I';m 21.,.I think people can always fit a good hour with your lover knowing u won;t see him for 6 months besides a visit in July...and then til January...I just feel as if once she gets to Europe and sees all her past friends I will be taken to the side..I mean, and more than this..i dunno..she does tells me she loves me and crave for me and miss me on her txt..but then again..i'm only a call away...Actions vs. Words.. What do u think?

i am married to a Marine. he is always deployed around the world serving our country. i am lucky if i get to talk to him for 10 minutes only twice a month. we have three sons and i have to share my 10 minutes with all 3 of them. while he is in the middle east i will appreciate any amount of time with him and just to know he is safe and still alive is what is important. long distance relationships do work but both people have to be willing to make the relationship survive. good luck

You know, even 5 minutes out of your day to at least hear each others voices and see how things are is good enough.

i just came out of a long distance relationship. 30 minutes a day is NOT enough. i had to talk to my boyfriend at least twice a day.. talking 30 minutes or more each time we talk. if you think it's too little then u have to find another way to talk to her more.
