make sure the connection bars at the bottom are all green, which means your connection status is very good, and then make a test search of something that is very popular, like "britney spears".If it works ok, it might mean that your particular search doesn't bring any results.You can also try emule www.emule-project.com

I find limewore easier to use, but you can find much more stuff on emule

when you search make sure the bars at the bottom are not red because if the are wait for like 5 mins and see if there green yet if not try restarting limewire or if that doesn't work your internet connection may not be good if limewire just doesn't work for you you may need to get kazaa which is just like limewire but slower i hope this helped

maybe ure still not connected to the server. that happens to me sometimes. i just restart limewire, or even my computer and i make sure im connected to the net. sometimes i wait for 5 mins before clicking the limewire icon again.

Try going to the top left corner drop down menu. There should be options that say 'connect' and 'disconnect'. Make sure you click on connect. Then in the lower left hand part of the screen you'll see little bars, they should be green, not red.

i dont use limewire anymore cause one of my friends got a virus from it, if u goin to use it just be careful

maybe your firewall or pop up blocker is the reason. Disable your firewall or your pop-up blocker for a few minutes.
