There is no biblical evidence otherwise. Actually, marriage of cousins is a cultural thing, not so much a religious one. It really comes down to whether or not you consider it incest.

Sure go ahead and marry a cousin you may end up and have a handicapped child. God has given you a taboo to give you a happier life Believe it.From Adam to the flood
people married cousins. After the flood the atmosphere changed to reduce the life span. Our genes became less perfect. So God gave a new rule. The bible was written so we might be a happier people, because being obedient it produces a happier people.

Ever since Moses brought the Law down from the mountain the marrying of a close kinsman has been banned. Long before anyone in the world knew why God did and told us that is was against His will.. We all know why we don't do it now again the Bible shows it is a book that can be believed..

No! No! No! if you are to marry your first or second cousin. My stupid brother did so 38 years ago by marrying our second cousin when we told him not to but he went against our wishes. Now he has 2 spastic daughters age 35 and 37 years and they need constant care. So think hard before you make your decision and it is not worth it destroying yours and others life in the process.

There are very few "solid" strictures banning cousin marriages. Catholics need(ed?) a special dispensation if they married 1st cousins.
Incest does not include cousins.

The Bilble was written by a men who obviously had no morals or ethics at the time. This was their "get out of jail free" card.

There is nothing in the Bible against that. And there are no civil laws against that. As a matter of fact (i know this is a bad example but WTF!), most royal marriages in Christian Europe were between cousins.

NO! It isn't allright! That's gross! I wouldn't want to read your Bible. It cannot be the one I read! I suggest that you find a faith filled Bible study group, and join it.
