most are wrong, There are some animals and some crabs that can be frozen for a period of time and if left to thaw out naturally will return to life. Some creatures produce a sugar in their blood called glycol which when freezing creats a rounded crystle. Humans don't have enough so when we are frozen our cells crystalize into sharp destructive shapes and the cells are destroyed. Look at the water bear. They have found dried up waterbears in the crypts of mummies and they come back to life after 2000 + years when rehydrated.

I actually witnessed this happen. My Aunt has frozen crabs. She was going to cook them. When she put them in a pot of boiling water, they tried to crawl out of the pot.
