Obviously, the answer is yes, but how many of you think people ask inanely stupid or insulting religious questions on this site, just to see if they can get a rise out of people? I don't mind serious questions, and like to discuss this, but some people are clearly in it just to annoy others.

If people really read the answers & find something in them that maybe affects them positively, who knows !! I've learned what I don't want to be like !! And I think some of the answers are very thoughtful. God probably hasn't seen so much interest in along time.
And, yes some are really annoying & dumb. Ya gotta take the good with the bad!?!?!

As you said, the answer is sadly yet obviously "yes." In many ways, God takes a "rap" from a lot of people out there, and that's they're bad! I also agree with you that I enjoy discussing serious questions, and it annoys me that people ask the dumb Q's that they do. The Bible does tell us to "avoid foolish and unlearned" questions - I believe we need to do that, instead of giving into those stupid Q's which, in effect, stirs us up.

obviously, yes There will always be dumb people. As long as the listen to all the answers and not just the ones that they agree with. Maybe it will do so good to be asked even the most ignorant of questions.

I really enjoy answering intelligent questions on Yahoo Answers.
But I get a real kick out of making up stupid answers to inane questions. I find it very entertaining. At least these guys aren't out breaking store windows.

The people who ask those question just to get a rise, have a lot of free time on their hands.
You know, they never have to pray, or go to church, or help the homeless. Just complain about the way Christians do it.

I AGREE BUT WE JUST WAIT FOR A REAL QUESTION AND SEE IF WE CAN HELP. ON THOSE THAT ANNOY DON'T ANSWER THEM. I DO KNOW GOD KNOWS WHEN THE TRUTH IS GIVEN TO YOU,THEN HE WAITS TO SEE WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT.

That is true there are many stupid questions on here about God but if just one person believes that the Lord Jesus Christ died for their sins then it is a good thing.
