disguised depression.
try to figure out what makes you 'reluctant' these days and work on it.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but eating vegetarian could be part of your problem. There is so much. But let's talk more basics first. What about water? And I mean water, not things that contain water. You've probably heard the rule of thumb of eight 8 ounce glasses of water every day. That may work for some, but do you really believe that a 100 lbs petit woman and a 250 lbs man require the same amount? Here is a better rule. Take your weight in lbs, divide it by 2 and that equals the number of ounces you should drink in a normal day. If you are more active, then you will need more. Why do I mention this? Dehydration could be a reason. If you truly are anemic, then you may need to look at iron in your diet. Do you eat a lot of green leafy veggies like spinach (fresh of course)? And you really should have a doctor confirm anemia if you suspect that. Liver is also a very good source of iron.

Sounds like fibromylgia, Im disabled because of it , if you've been to doctors some still don't beleive in it, but most do , it will make you tired, even if you've slept for a long time you still feel tired, muscles hurt, sometimes you feel so bad you want to die i would get up in the morning more tired than when I went to bed, you'll have sleep problems, hurting all over, problems walking problems thinking and remembering,I couldn't lift thing that I could have before and I was very depressed.. I have worked all my adult life and nothing ever got me down that I couldn't get back up, except this. If this sounds like you make an appointment with a neurologist that how I found out about it, before that , I thought I had MS, cancer because I'd never heard of this til the doctor told me I had it.
And if sleeping 12 hr is your normal sleep pattern you may be sleeping to much.

Sometimes sleeping too much for an extended period of time can cause drowsiness throughout the day. Your body doesn't adjust quickly to changes in sleeping patterns. Disrupted sleep, like waking up often can make you feel very tired in the morning. Having a good diet can also give you more energy and make you feel less tired. If your diet is complete with healthy foods, like plenty of water, fruits, vegetables, fiber or vitamins, (limiting fast food, fried foods or too many carbs) your being tired all the time could be due to something more serious, such as depression or a physical imbalance in your body, which you would have to see your doctor about.

maybe you have depression.
maybe you are anaemic
maybe you are on drugs or medication
maybe you are on a diet
maybe you have the flu
maybe you have viral hepatitis
maybe you are working too much and not getting enough sleep
maybe you have sleep apneoa (frequent waking up during sleep due to respiratory obstruction. if thats the case there will be snoring and you might be fat)
maybe you have restless leg syndrome
or maybe you are just lazy.you need to do some exercise.
anaemia : it means weak blood .
the main cause of anemia is reduced iron intake making the hemoglobin level in red blood cells fall low and they cant carry enough oxygen anymore.
this is the main issue in anaemia as the whole body depends on oxygen delivered by the red blood cells.
however there are many causes leading to anaemia , not just lack of iron . ill give you a brief simple classification:
anaemia from not enough food
like when you are on a vegetarian diet low in iron (meat is the best source of iron) , also diet vegetarian is low in B12 and folate which are also essential to blood formation.
or your diet could be perfect but you cant absorb food well like if you have chronic diarrhea or use of laxatives or specific disease of the intestines or stomach.
anaemia from loss of blood
like when you have heavy periods , or if you have an ulcer
anaemia from increased body needs
like when you have a chronic illness
and last
anaemia from abnormality of the blood cells
like spherocytosis etc where blood cells are easily destroyed(hemolysis) if you have this it might be associated with jaundice(yellowish discolouration easily seen in the whites of eyes)

You may have anemia. That is you may be iron deficient. Iron is found in abundance in red meats but since you're a vegetarian you may not be getting enough of it. Iron is found in a variety of other foods. Talk to a doctor to find out if this could be the cause of your tiredness. Also check with a dietitian about what other foods besides meat contain iron.

Get to the doctor.
Aside from all the other things said, you might be hypoglycemic, thats what I've got and I'm tired all the time.
You could even have M.E.
And just because you think you're happy, you might just have convinced yourself, it might not be the reality, really think about your life just now.
It might even be as simple as stress, stress does the weirdest things to a person.

There are many reasons for being tired all the time. I suggest you go and have bloodwork done. I was found to not absorb iron normally, so had to take folic acid tablets, that is only one cause however. Check with your doctor to be sure!!

There might be something in your life you're not at all happy about. Maybe your looks. Maybe your work. Maybe your sex life. I think you should see a therapist. Meanwhile, have a good cup of coffee and listen to some good music. Have you heard of Yahoo! Radio? You ought to try it! Good luck!
