Was being "clothed " something that God wanted us to be? Then why no "hair" or clothing. Is that not the why of original sin, to believe nudity is wrong?

003:009 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where
art thou?
003:010 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was
afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
003:011 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou
eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou
shouldest not eat?

Nudity has nothing to do with it. The original sin is the disobedience to God.

This is a tough one here, my (clears throat) "girlfriend" is a nudist.
God ends up clothing Adam and Eve, though the text does NOT say why. Hence, we must "interpret" the texts to understand why all of the sudden, God wants them to be clothed, and any yahoo, who claims that it was because of their sin, sorry NO, the text does NOT say, "And God clothed Adam and Eve because of the nakedness of their sin." nor anything else remotely like this. It simply states, that God made skins for Adam and his wife. Many will say that an animal was sacrificed to do so, WRONG, sorry, this AIN"T THE CASE EITHER. Come on, This being just got done creating all of the universe and HE can't create a garment of skins from nothingness??? Please. Fact of the matter is, the text never declares that clothing is NEEDED for the gentile, But for the Jew, that is a different story. A Jew is not allowed to be imodest with clothing, nor lewd with clothing. Also a Levite is not allowed to ascend to God's altar upon stairs, so that his nakedness not be exposed to the stairs even. But, for the gentile............FREE, AS A BIRD!

The giving of clothes to Adam and Eve was the first blood sacrifice as a covering for sin, which was a picture of what was to come in Jesus Christ-the Lamb of God who would take away our sin.
The fact that God gave clothes because of sin means that there is a moral basis for clothing, and thus there are also standards. The Israelites sacrificed animals over and over again, but the blood of bulls and goats can't take away our sin (as we're taught in Hebrews). This is because man is not just an animal-he is not connected to the animal kingdom. Man was made separately from the animals; he was made in the image of God. Therefore we needed a man to die for our sin, which is why God sent His son Jesus Christ to become one of us (of our blood), to be our relative, so that He could die on the Cross and be raised from the dead to save us from our sins.
Sin warps things, just as how sin warped nudity, so Adam and Eve were ashamed of their nudity because they had become sinners. Clothes represent a covering for our sins.
There is even a church where the people call themselves 'Christian nudists' and they talk about getting back to what the Bible teaches concerning Adam and Eve originally being naked in the Garden of Eden. But in doing this they are ignoring the entrance of sin and its consequences on this world. Even though Adam and Eve were naked to start with, sin changed everything-therefore the wearing of clothes is based in the historical events in Genesis 1-11.
Another reason is that it is also a measure to prevent the sin of lust, considering how easy it is to cause a man or a woman to lust.

I'm a nudist too, and as far as I'm concerned the Bible is irrelevant. Nudity is good and sensible and there should be a lot more of it. It can't be a coincidence that the US has big hang-ups about nudity and also has *much* higher rates of abortion and teenage pregnancy than other countries which are more relaxed about public nudity.

Because God was talking to them in the bushes and asked why they were hiding and they said because we are naked. "How do you know you are naked?" Because we ate of the tree (God already knew that) and now have carnal knowledge of each other which is a sin.

You did not read the Bible man. God killed some animals and made clothes for them. that's where we get the idea of with out the shedding of blood there can be no covering for our sin.

Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
