last year i was 13 and i flew to ohio by myself. i want to fly there again but every website tht sells tickets says you have to be 18. did they change rules or something???

You have to be 18 to buy a ticket because that is more or less a legal contract, but you can fly by yourself as young as 12.

No they did'nt change the rules you just can't buy your ticket off there site you have to be 18 or older. You just need a parent to buy the ticket for you an the you could fly there no problem.

You might have to be 18 to buy the ticket, but no, you do not have to be 18 to fly alone. Each airline has its own rules.

you have to be 18 to purchase the tickets..and if you are a minor you are supposed to have a flight attendant assigned to watch over you! if you are only 13 where are you flying without your parents knowing anyway!

No. My brother flew by himself many times when he was only 13 years old. He would frequently fly to Detroit to live with his mother when she had her weekends to be with him (parents where divorced).

well u can ride when ur young...i took a trip to see my dad when i was like 6, on the way back though they assignd me with one of the chicks that serv ppl..
