Anyone who wants to be a street preacher is free to do so in the US. They're likely to profess almost any faith imaginable so I guess you could say that nearly all do of one sort or another.

Street preachers possibly come from all religions... but Christianity is the one in which I am most knowledgeable.

Most street preachers began on street corners as they haven't a church in which to preach, and many before attending the Seminary.

These preachers are the true and sincere preacher, they are so excited to tell the world about God and His Son, Jesus.

Jesus and his Apostles were street preachers. Its incredible that some Christians look down on anyone preaching in the streets today. So regardless of those few mutants despising it - Christianity paved with Street Preaching.

I know many there are Catholic, and most Protestant faiths within Christianity.

And I have seen the American form of Islam on the street corner selling thier newsletters

Are you thinking of street ministers? I belong to a street ministry that carrys the word of God to bikers. I'm non-denominal, but the ministry in not affiliated with any church.
