Trust me there will be people who admire your courage, wish they had your flair and guts and others who are so stuck in their safe conventionality that they will make fun and berate you for what you wear. Life would still be dressing like the 1890's if not for the creativeness of the 20's. Be you and know that that is what you want to be. Hurray for all those that dare to share themselves and proud of their artistic abilities. Good luck and be yourself...don't worry about narrow minded simpletons.

I think the hair that fits u. If u did super funky hair styles and were casul clothes all the time people would get used to it and its not that bad at all 2

For the first day take it easy, because you don't want to look so outrageous at school on the first day with so many casual looking hairs.
And funky hair with casual clothes is more calmer than funky hair with funky clothes.

Listen, I wear my hair a different way every day. I wear what I!! want to wear. MY comfort comes first, and not what other people
THINK I should wear. People have told me I look like I am from
California,... I guess just because I don't follow the crowd or the fads that are popular.

Nope! I was a freshman this year, and I have reeeaaaallly long hair. One of my friends has fun doing it in all sorts of crazy styles, even though I dress pretty causually. In the end, they look really nice. Have fun!

you will not look wierd! trust me.. i went to school one day in an orange shirt and green sweats. I later asked my friend if she thought it looked wierd and she said,"It was ok, but you made it wierd because you kept fidgeting with it and glancing around." So if you feel comfortable with you hair and sense of clothing style...go for it!! And always remember, you're dressing for your comfort and happiness. it's the confidence you give off that helps your style!!!
