You could always reduce the level of the snoring by wearing earplugs but that's uncomfortable and un-natural. If possible talk to the person that causes you problems, in a friendly way, and offer to get them some of those nose strips. The nose strips most times open the nasal passages and actually helps the person and prevents snoring but not always. In many severe cases it's a medical condition, on the persons, part and on your part you just have to find ways to minimize it, if you can. Try one of those air purifying machines that at times runs and keeps a level of noise in the room that helps you sleep even with other noises that happen to be around.

This is interesting because if snoring honest to god makes you feel this way I think you may need to talk to your physician about a suitable anti-anxiety pill. I'm not even being a smart as*. I'm serious. If its your hubby...sleep in another room. Believe me when I say a lot of couples do this. If it is another relative...I mean, they are in another room for god sakes! What more do you want? If you can hear it from their bedroom maybe it is something worse then the normal snore. They may have a medical problem.

Listen to your i-pod or cd player. Breathe in and out at a steady pace and think of something else. Also ask the person to stop snoring or get help. You can get strips to clear the nasal passage.
