I work in a kitchen and none of the manufacturer's books were left with the oven, and where it has been cleaned the temperatures have rubbed off the dial and also the settings. So now I can't see where the dial needs to be turned to in order to get the correct temperature.

I realise I'm missing something, but the temperature is whatever you set the dial to...

Do you want to convert gas mark to centigrade?

You can buy little oven thermometers from hardware stores
