You definitely need to go to the vet. Puppies are very susceptible to a disease called parvo. It can cause puking, diarrhea, fever, etc, and it can kill a puppy really fast. You need to know if your puppy has parvo. If it does, and they catch it early enough, your puppy can be treated. If they don't catch it in time, your puppy will have to be euthanized.

If it is parvo, get it treated. If it's not parvo, count your blessings and get your puppy treated for whatever he's got.

Canned pumpkin (100%, NOT pie filling) is good for firming up poop, about a teaspoon. I agree that your pup should be seen by a vet though. If the holidays weren't coming up, you might be able to wait a day or 2, but since most places are going to be closed for 4 days he should go in TODAY. You don't want it to be too late!

The cause can't be good. My vet suggested pedilite for infents dillualted w/ water once when my puppie was sick. Make sure you are not giving your puppie human milk. Baby asprin can be given to dogs. Peto Bismo ONLY can be given to dogs. Must be the brand name. If your puppies wont drink try mixing some of the pedilite in w/ wet food for puppies. (Such as Iams, only a good brand) Try to hand feed him and comforte him as much as you can. Don't give up on the little guy. I know it can be over whelming. I hope your finances premit you to go to a vet a.s.a.p

It could be a number of things, but you must rule out Parvo, or Distemper first. Run, don't walk to your vet.

Parvo. You need to take him to the vet right away. Parvo kills incredibly fast. Go now!! It is better to be safe than sorry.

This could happen if you've changed the type or brand of food that he/she has eaten. Maybe your puppy has eaten something from outside(grass, lizard etc).
