Go back and very politely ask for the manager and tell him/her what happened. If he/she asks why you didn't say anything when you were there the first time tell them that you couldn't notice how bad a cut it was till you washed it and styled it at home. Then say, "This is my favorite place to have my hair done and I'd really appreciate it if someone could fix this."
I only say to be nice and polite because it's a good idea not to piss off the person who's gonna be taking the sissors to your hair again... the last think you want is an even worse hair cut cause someone's thinking, "What a *****!"
Who knows, if you're really nice about it they might give you some samples for free or something like that... don't hesitate to ask about the products and ask for samples though, you don't get what you don't ask for.
Hope you get it all 'straightened out' (sorry, couldn't resist the pun)

Go back and ask to speak to her...although it is very upsetting to you (I've been in this situation before), it probably wasn't something she intentionall did. She should offer to fix it for no charge. I'm assuming that although noticible, it must not be horrific, since you left the salon without telling some people off. Ask if she will trim it up and she would probably be more than willing. If she hassles you, ask for her manager.

I'm a hair stylist and I tell my customers that if they see anything they don't like within a day or two, I will redo it for free....doesn't happen often ; - ) . Anway, you should definately go back and ask her or the owner of the Salon to fix it at no charge. If they don't, find a new hair stylist.

I would go back to the salon show the manager what the person at the salon did to your hair and request they fix it.

I have been there sad to say. Call the salon and ask to speak to the manager, be nice, and explain the problem. They should welocme you back immediatley, and a senior stylist will "fix the cut. Good Luck.

Simple, go back and show her what she did. If it is a reputable Salon they will either fix it for free or refund the cost of the cut.

yeah, I tend to agree w/the first answerer there (only read first answer) but I kinda like the 'goth look' too, hon. Ever think of like putting a red or green streak over there.. doing some heavy kinda make-up? I noticed some (I hate the news, God...) newscaster chick deliberately DID have her hair (it was below the ear tho.. ) longer on one side.. looked kinda cool (rest of her didn't.) I wouldn't go back to this swell spot tho... later (going to run out for a haircut... ) melancholia
