How does it work for you after dumping someone you've been seriously in love with and then fell out of love with, and they are clearly still in love with you. Do you just want to be cold so they know there's no hope, or is there never hope? Would you ever get back together with them? Do you want to stay friends? Do you find it possible? I'm just trying to understand my ex who is seemingly so cold to me. How does it work when one loves someone so much and the other is trying to get away? What can the dumpee (me) do about it?

What was her reason for dumping you? That is the main question first. If you smothered her, you need to just give her some space and time, while still letting her know that you care and will be there for her if she needs youi. You can still be friends, but dont be too pushy at first. Let it develop and you might be able to get close again.

There is always hope, but dont let yourself get hurt and beat up over this. Try to take care of yourself for awhile and do things for you. You may even decide you deserve somebody who wants to be with you and will treat you right. good luck

i would let the girl dump me for a few reasons. one- theres less risk of a bad rep when she does it compared to when u do it because she will go off telling her friends and god knoez who else **** about u thats real and possibly false. and two- if u already know that u are the actual dumpER, than it shouldnt bother u if she gets the upper hand in it. 3- if u are nice and sincere enough to really think taht it isnt working and that u like her as a person, then let her do it. it will be ez on her soul n u will feel like u did a good thing. OR u can just dump her azz like a meanie. iduno up 2 u

what was the reason for the break up? Depending ya'll could still be friends, it may take time. When I broke up with my bf of 2 1/2 years we didn't talk for about 6 mo., but know we can call each other as friends,. We both have moved on with our lives and have excepted it.

There might still be some hope. But if she doesn't love you, you need to move on, you'll find someone better.
