Usually 4-6 months. Occasionally they have another heat right after the pups are born. It is an extremely bad idea to let her get pregnant that soon after having babies.
Please have her spayed. For every puppy you breed and find a home for you are killing a puppy at a shelter, because that is one less home looking to adopt one. If you can't afford it call animal control, they have programs that can help.
Please, PLEASE, please get her spayed.

I don't know what kind of dog hot momma has been around, but she is incorrect.
After you, or the mother dog wean the puppies (ideally 7 to 9 weeks) she will come in heat again between 3 and 5 months later.
All dogs cycle different, so it is a hard thing to judge, and the individual dog may cycle differently each time.
After one litter she may cycle in 3 months, and the next litter it may take the full 5 months before she comes in heat again.

Dogs are pretty regular and come in heat about every 6 months, including the 58-63 days they are pregnant. So, after birth, she should come back into heat in about 4 months.
