I saw a tv show on the food network that followed the process of a company that makes potato chips. They separated out the burned or brown chips for uniformity, but then sold them separately for those who prefer that flavor. Has anyone heard of these?

Not I! Brown chips have a lot more sugar in them that regular potato chips.

No, but maybe you could put regular chips in the toaster oven if you really like that flavor
