Basically the Renault (Grand) Scenic like all other Renaults are graded on the level of specification they are (eg. You'll notice all prices vary... 1.6 Dynamique is completely different to the 1.6 Authentique, Thats because the Authentique is the entry level model) Here is a list of the specification each model has;
AUTHENTIQUE
6 Airbags, Anti Lock Braking, Power Steering, Electric Front Windows, Electric Mirrors, Air Conditioning, CD/Cassette Radio, Immobilisor.
DYNAMIQUE
6 Airbags, Anti Lock Braking, Power Steering, Electric Front Windows, Electric Mirrors, Alloy Wheels, Air Conditioning, CD/Cassette Radio, Sunroof, Immobilisor.
EXPRESSION
6 Airbags, Anti Lock Braking, Power Steering, Electric Front Windows, Electric Mirrors, Air Conditioning, Alloy Wheels, CD/Cassette Radio, Sunroof, Satalite Navigation, Stability Control, Traction Control, Optional Leather Seats, Immobilisor.
PRIVILAGE
6 Airbags, Anti Lock Braking, Power Steering, Electric Front & Rear Windows, Electric Mirrors, Alloy Wheels, CD/Cassette Radio, Full Length Sunroof, Air Conditioning, Satalite Navigation, Stability Control, Traction Control, Alarm, Immobilisor, Leather Seats, Phone System.
MAXIM
6 Airbags, Anti Lock Braking, Power Steering, Electric Front & Rear Windows, Electric Mirrors, Alloy Wheels, CD/Cassette Radio, Full Length Sunroof, Air Conditioning, Satalite Navigation, Stability Control, Traction Control, Alarm, Immobilisor, Leather Seats, Phone System, Automatic Gearbox, Uprated Alloys, Plus More Options.
RUSH
Special Edition Uses similar equipment to the Authentique with a few extra options added in for free.
Prices for the Scenic start from £13,770 on the road (1.4 16v Scenic Authentique) to £19,520 on the road (1.9 dCi 130 Maxim Grand Scenic)
Apparently for all round spec levels, economy, performance and comfort the best one to go for is the Grand Scenic 1.9 dCi 130 Expression.
Hope this is of help :-)
