I believe that the first prayer needs to be that your brother accept Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior. Once your brother accepts Jesus, his thought and ways will chance as he will want to live a life that is pleasing to God. Dont count your brother as a victory for the enemy just because of his brain damage. God can heal and restore his mind. With God all things are possible.
It may not be you that leads your brother to Christ, it may be another person or situation that leads him in the right direction. Pray and ask God to give you Wisdom to know what and when to speak to your brother. It is my prayer that God will speak to the heart of your brother and will bring Godly men across his path to show him the Truth of who God is. Be encouraged.

Are you sure HE is the one with brain damage?
Heavy Metal is not satanic, (or "satonic") it is just music. If you are so concerned about him and his music, I can assume you have listened to this music and read the lyrics, right?
No? Do that. Maybe you won't be so scared when you realize it is just a sound, and nothing that can either influence a persons beliefs, make him less of a nice person, or become a god.
P.S. Atheists are the largest group to suffer from religious discrimination in the U.S. Don't be part of the discrimination.
P.P.S. See that little tab that says "Check Spelling"...

A-thiest - no I don't believe that anyone deep down is an atheist. The Bible says that God has set eternity in the heart of man. We are all conscious of God and there is a deep longing in the heart of each individual to know God, and to have a realtionship with Him. This is why people spend so much time in atheist and agnostic groups etc.
As far as your brother is concerned, heavy metal music will not help him. I do believe that this kind of music is satanic. I will pray for your brother, that the Lord will speak to Him and draw him to salvation.

What Kind Of Heavy Metal Does He Listen To. I'm A Christian and I listen to some heavy Metal most of it is Christian though.
Here is an Idea: Buy him some christain heavy metal to listen to(But don't tell him it's christain) You said he is a little bit slow so I don't think he will figure it out. Then at least what he listens to is christain. and his mind won't be filled with all this(Satanic Crap)
And I don't care what he says the majority of secular music is satanic. Here is some good christian metal bands that I like:
Demon Hunter, As I Lay Dying, Underoath, Showbread, Zao, Beloved, Still Remains, Emery. Try going to Solidstaterecords.com all of their artists are Christian Heavy Metal. Or Toothandnail.com. I Hope This Helps You. I'll pray for your brother. You should to.

Heavy metal is not satanic. You should be concerned about heavy drinking, drugs, etc. If he has brain damage from an accident or a genetic defect, you should seek medical help.
Atheism is that you do not believe that there is a God of any kind.
Being obsessive over something is called an addiction.

Yes the music is satanic. There is such a thing as an athiest. What is so wonderful about God is that he gives us a choice. A choice to live forever through Christ Jesus or live in the world. Continue to pray for him, ask God to reveal himself to him. One thing people are so afraid of is change and by accepting Christ as your savior, the holy spirit starts changing you. Keep your faith and know that nothing is impossible with God. Pray God's word! God Bless you and your family.

Not all Metal is satanic. Their are some Christian metal bands. Slip a couple of those into his collection and see what happens. He says he's an Athiest. I'll pray he finds faith. Ask him what he believes in if he doesn't believe in God. He'll probably tell you he believes in himself. That's good, but tell him you want to know his idea of where human life began and ask him to explain love, friendship, fellowship, and other emotions to you. I'm sure that eventually he'll see the truth.

I will pray. I have a question? If he has brain damage and what age is he functioning? If he is like a child and leadable maybe you can get him into Heavy Metal Christian Music. You cannot take something away without replacing it with something else.

I do not think heavy metal is satanic. I just think the media pumps it up that way. If somebody does good and helps fellow people I do not think they will go to hell.
At the same time if they defy god and do not follow god and practice evil then they will probably not be going to heaven. I cannot say forsure becuase it is not my decision. God is the only one that can judge others.
