10 - You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours.

9 - You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt.

8 - You laugh at polytheists, but you have no problem believing in a Triune God.

7 - Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" including women, children, and trees!

6 - You laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but you have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.

5 - You are willing to spend your life looking for little loopholes in the scientifically established age of Earth (few billion years), but you find nothing wrong with believing dates recorded by Bronze Age tribesmen sitting in their tents and guessing that Earth is a few generations old.

4 - You believe that the entire population of this planet with the exception of those who share your beliefs -- though excluding those in all rival sects - will spend Eternity in an infinite Hell of Suffering. And yet consider your religion the most "tolerant" and "loving."

3 - While modern science, history, geology, biology, and physics have failed to convince you otherwise, some idiot rolling around on the floor speaking in "tongues" may be all the evidence you need to "prove" Christianity.

2 - You define 0.01% as a "high success rate" when it comes to answered prayers. You consider that to be evidence that prayer works. And you think that the remaining 99.99% FAILURE was simply the will of God.

1 - You actually know a lot less than many atheists and agnostics do about the Bible, Christianity, and church history - but still call yourself a Christian.

10. Because our God is the real god.
9. If we evolved from apes there wouldn't be any more apes.
8. God is three parts in one.
7. God does everything for a reason.
6. Mary was pure and the only woman EVER to carry such a beautiful burden. She was born without sin. She was really impregnated through pure love, not an actual being.
5. The people that were there long ago saw everything and recorded what they could. Just because something is old doesn't mean it isn't true.
4. When the nonbelievers die they are given one last chance to convert before passing on. It is then their choice.
3. Christianity is spiritual. Science and logical thought alone are not enough. When something unexplainable happens it must be powered by something more than human.
2. God answers or doesn't answer prayers for a reason. What if someone prayed for something and it brought them death?
1. That is a good point but Christians are not trying to prove that their god does not exist. All we need is faith in God. You are considered a Christian if you believe that there is one God and that his son Jesus saved us from our sins and have faith in them.

You may not agree with everything I am telling you but you've got to admit....I made good argument.

I am a Christian and I do not agree with any of your statements. I would say there ARE Christians out there who undoubtedly agree with many and perhaps all of those statements you made but I would dare say that the majority of Christians are not as you have so eloquently espoused. I'd say the only one I come even close to agreeing with is your #10 (or first) statement. I do deny the exitence of other gods but I do not become "outraged" that someone might deny the exitence of God. That is simply their personal belief and they are welcome to it. As for the rest I have to say I STRONGLY disagree with you. And in case you are wondering I am Methodist.

Ya, ya, ya. Christians know more about Christianity than atheists and agnostics. We also know more about atheists and agnostics than atheists and agnostics. Keep trying. You just can't win. Take off your blinders.

I've seen that exact same list somewhere else. Rather than just copy and paste, why don't you tell us your own opinion?
