The mind and body need plenty of rest each night to recoup from the previous day. You're working your body too much. Think of it as a car running on fumes. You're going to burn out soon. Believe it or not, but people need about 9 hours of sleep a night. I know hardly anyone gets that much, but it is what you need. 8 or 7 is good too. Why are you up till 3am if you have to wake up so early? Just work on getting to sleep earlier each night until you have a better sleep pattern. Try reading before bed instead of TV or computer time. Try listening to mellow, instrumental music while you fall asleep. It helps me. Now go get some sleep!

3 hours is an inadequate amount of sleep for anybody, whether you're 16 or 60. The human body undergoes most of its recouperative processes during sleep, and your body needs to go through the full cycle of deep sleep to fully benefit.
I realize that you may have very good reasons for being as busy as you are. Just keep in mind that you are best able to do good work when you are healthy. As it appears in your post, you are starving your body of rest.

No, you can really mess yourself up kid! In between High School and work (assuming you go to school) That drains alot of energy. Personal experiences include crashing last year during a track meet cuz of the fact I wasn't getting enough sleep (track practices, research paper, keeping up my social life ect.) Get some sleep kid.

Hello dear one! No, it's not enough sleep. Remember that your heart is a muscle and needs adequate rest...especially yours! Please be careful not to overdo it and if you can't sleep longer, can you try taking short 5 minute meditative breaks? That will help at least.

Yes, i 've heard that there are a method of "short sleep", but it is suitable only for few people. If you feel alright-it's alright!! Some of my friends sleep 3 hours every day cause they live very far from University and they feel ok!!

Good god man, I couldn't even function on that at your age! What is your schedule like that you only get 3 hours of sleep a night at 16? Good god...cut some stuff out, and get some rest--you'll need it!

3 hours of sleep isn't enough for anyone! If you're only working for four hours, why are you up until 3:00a.m.?? Go to bed!
