Dear Questioner,

Allah the Most High have already planned for all this to happen, including the day of judgement and all the horror that will happen..

And in verses where Allah says: kaan wa'adu rabbi lamafouala'
also: yawman kaan sharruhu mustateera

Allah used the term Kaan, meaning Was, since it was already pre ordained. and pre decreed, do not forget the fact that we Muslims believe that everything was planned for..

and that is why, Allah speaks about that day saying, it was, .. again every single detail on that day is planned for.. and Allah speaks like no one does, can any one do the same? speak of something that will happen being sure that it happened? I do not believe so.. so.. praises be to the all mighty God..

I hope that was helpful, and I ask Allah to forgive me.. and help you understand His book and be a pious servant of Him,

Yes, this can be clarified. :)

The reason that some things are in past tense are probably because these are the times when Allah mentions what will happen then (in the future.) He is telling us what people will look back and say. For instance, on the Day of Judgment, someone may say something, but it's a reflection of their life right now, so it will be in past tense. :)

It's not very difficult, it's like Allah is telling us a story of what will happen in the future. Not just that, but there not neccessarily a second chance, but a life after this one - in which everything we did in this life will be accounted for, and then Allah will decide where we will abide from then on until the rest of eternity. Good deeds will result in a good abode (Paradise) and of course, bad deeds will result in an evil abode (Hell.)

I hope that helped! :)

Destiny is God's perfect knowledge of all events, past or future. Many, if not most, question how God can already know events that have not yet been experienced, and this leads them to fail to understand the authenticity of destiny. However, events not yet experienced are not yet experienced by us only. God is not bound by time or space, for He Himself has created them. For this reason, the past, the future, and the present are all the same to God; for Him, everything has already taken place and is finished.

Allah already knows what will happen in the future so he is just telling us about so we can prepare while we are alive now. He tells us what people will say so that we can do the right things now so we will be the people who will happy with how they lived their life and will be rewarded with heaven. There is no second chance. The time is now to live righteously cause when you die it will be too late.

Judgement has already been made. You need but to follow the teachings in the Quran to fulfill and receive what you already have.
