My husband recently began thinking about getting circumcised. Oddly enough i've never been with a circumcised man and didn't really know how to respond when he told me he was thinking about having it done? Is it really any different at all? Will lovemaking feel different? Has anyone been in a similar situation? Well any answers/advice would help really.

I've been with both and the circumcised guy will last longer because there is less sensitivity at the head of the penis. This happens, of course, over time if a guy was clipped at birth. I've never known of anyone who had it done as an adult. What are his reasons for wanting unnecessary surgery? Has he looked into the complications? Infection, AMPUTATION! Is it just so he'll match his buddies? It really will affect your sex life, so he should seriously discuss the repercussions with a doctor and also consider your feelings about it. Good luck.

There are pros and cons to this. From a female perspective, there was not much difference for me sexually, except in appearance. The uncircumcised guys that I have known, say that they have a better sensitivity.
From the perspective of a Nurse, I can tell you that many guys find it medically necessary to have it done as an adult. But after caring for many freshly circumcised men in the hospital, I personally, am GLAD I am a female! It is VERY painful! Why go through it unless a doctor determines that it is needed? He has gone this far without it... and unless he has some medical need to have this done, what is the reason to do it now???

I am the one to ask I have had boyfriends that were and ones that were not and I was pleased just the same and being circumsized at his age he will be going trhough alot of pain usally this is done in the hospital when you have a baby boy by choice . There are benifits to having this done because your husband or boyfriend will not get dieseaseas quick as someone who is not and people usally dont get circumsized because of religious reasons and there nationalitys . I wouldnt worry at all he will still be the same man and satisfy you no changes only he will be in pain after for about a week.

I hear it's really painful for an adult to have this done. FYI They look so much better...feel the same.
