Christians are not to sue Christians. Is what it saying.

When Jesus said that. Jesus was on earth in what age? Mosaic age. Jesus said: The age to come. what age to come? The Christians age.
It didn't become Christian age until Acts.Ch. 2. Day of Pentecost.

The Bible suggests that Christians should not sue other Christians. You might have a look at this website that give some background on the Christian persepctive:
http://www.gotquestions.org/lawsuits-suing.html

Note that these Scriptures deal with legal issues that arise within the community of believers and not within the world in general.

Also, these scriptures come from a period in history that had different kinds of legal structures. For example, there were no insurance companies in those days, so personal injury would have had to have been compensated for with other types of settlements. So, keep in mind that that these verses give guidlines for behavior in a different type of social setting than what we have today, and modern situations may necessitate that justice be served through lawsuit as the only means of collecting rightful comepensation, yet at the same time, there is a Scriptural understanding that if matters can be settled in other ways, Christians should not file lawsuits frivolously or without due discernment of all the issues and considerations.

I think it said "love your neighbor as yourself", "forgive seventy times seventy", "offer up the other cheek"...nothing really about suing but if you feel that suing people will bring them to their senses then right on! The Bible doesn't prohibit it because it didn't talk against it and that's one way of getting justice so I don't see anything wrong in it and I think the Bible too because it also talk about getting the justice done, Jesus being our great Judge.

The Bible talks about lawsuits among believers in 1 Corinthians 6

If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints? Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, appoint as judges even men of little account in the church! I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers? But instead, one brother goes to law against another—and this in front of unbelievers!
The very fact that you have lawsuits among you means you have been completely defeated already. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be cheated? Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers.

As for lawsuits between believers and nonbelievers I do not know.

this is a sermon about the topic

They (the verses) are sprinkled all through the Pentateuch (first five books of the Old Testament). Take a look. It is all about the circumstances underwhich the breaking of civil laws are to be handled.

Sorry but I'm 99% positive that the bible doesn't say anything about suing. You have to remember people didn't sue each other 2,000 years ago. They fought to the death.

It would be impossible for a true follower of Christ to sue anybody, for any reason. To those inside the Church I Corinthians 6 would apply, toward those both inside and outside the Church, Christ’s commands in the Sermon on the Mount Matthew 5-7 would apply. Turn the other cheek; that ye resist not evil; love your enemies, bless them that curse you; if sued for the coat, give them your cloak also; give to them that ask of you, and to him that would borrow from thee turn not away; Blessed are the peacemakers; Blessed are you when men shall say all manner of evil against you; (slander) agree with thy adversary quickly; forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors and a host of other NT commands, not the least of which is: ‘vengeance is mine, saith the Lord, I will repay.’ But that covetous, greedy, vengeful, carnal church members would justify their litigious practices is of no surprise or consequence. The path of those who would follow Christ is costly; it leads to death of self and all self interests, including the so called American right to sue anyone for anything, for huge amounts; legally or morally justified or not. Are you one of those false disciples, choking back your rage because my answer reveals your shallow profession and fleshly carnality: SUE ME!!!

Based on God’s teaching its ok to sue some one as long as you are seeking your right, but remember it’s always better to forgive has more reward. Reference from the Bible not sure about that

Not really. But it does say something about false truths. If you are suing for something that didn't really happen then it is wrong.
