I just don't understand the meaning of so many people speeding and honking for stupid reasons etc... If late for a meeting or important events. Why not plan ahead and be safe? Isn't safety the most important of all?

No way is road rage considered "cool".. It's quite the opposite. Road rage resuilts when some neanderthal loses his or her temper and can't control it anymore...what's good about that? NOTHING! People don't get that driving is a priviledge and NOBODY OWNS the road! We all share it. But some people think they have more of a right to it than others and that's where they get into trouble. People these days are impatient as hell and you just never know what they are capable of! It's fricken scary!

Road rage is definately not cool. Although most people have a streak of it in them, it can cause accidents, and even fatalities. People should, like you said, plan ahead, and give themselves extra time. Safety is the most important.

In Cincinnati Ohio there was a case of road rage that went to court, the 'rager' went to jail for crashing into the 'ragee' and killing his child. The excuse for this crime of murder was that the victim had forgotten to signal when changing lanes and the criminal was already speeding.
Rage is never cool, and with a ton or so of metal it is really idiotic.

As a professional driver, I can tell you that road rage is not considered cool and in fact can get you reported to the police.
I have done this myself when witnessing incidents that cross over into lawbreaking.
