Read my profile and you will know that I believe very strongly God is healing, but my family is still infants in the Lord and are emotionally detaching, which I know to be normal in a dying process, but it leaves me very isolated, so would you please from your heart send words of KJV scripture to encourage me? You can even choose an alternate method if you go to my website www.dandhunter.com, but please put Yahoo answers request in the subject line as if I don't recognize a name I don't usually open the email. Most days my eyes hurt so bad I can't read or stand to be on the internet, but I feel God telling me to use the sources I have. May God bless you for letting him use you as a vessel of encouragement. Deanna

Oh my sis... Hugs to my sis in the Lord. I can't imagine how tough it must be. But girl our Lord is STRONG and He is walkin with you every step of the way... And he's with your family too... Sometimes the Lord chooses to heal us so that Everyone can see such awesome Proof of His power. But sometimes... we well endure much so that those around us can see how our Faith sustains. Look at Joni Eareckson Tada She's been a quadrapoligic for what 30 years... and people can look at her and say Look at the joy she has look at the love she shares despite what she has to deal with everyday. You can be a WITNESS to how God heals the SPIRIT.... Let Him use you to be a lamp Shining bright. I don't know if I understand all you have to go through or what your family is going through. Just make sure that you KNOW and your family Knows... that God is going to give you Healing no matter what. Either you'll be healed of this illness and beable to testify to it for years to come... or you'll testify of the peace the Lord gives beyond understand you and HEAL you completely and bring you home... Too many forget that death for a christian isn't God letting you down... it's God giving the Best and COMPLETE healing and being present with the Lord alone could give. As much as it breaks our hearts when the Lord brings someone home we can rejoice for them. I'm gonna post you a few scripture addresses so you can look them up...or this email will take you a month to read. God bless you sister... even by just this... short note from you I can see the Holy Spirit in you and I know He will tell you what to do with your family. I know he will comfort you and them and hold you all in comfort and peace. You are in my prayers. you lil sis in HIM -- jen

God placed you with your parents, as you were a gift to them. You are their responsibility and their hope.

God truly is the Divine Healer. Your parents are by no means infants ... you have just been told to view them that way by some outside source. Perhaps God stands firm and relictant to heal this situation between you and your parents because you reject their years of nurtureing over a group of people who have only resently come into your life? If you were on the right path, God would bless you and your family with harmony and balance.

Alright folks read READ the question. If and I imagine it's true this woman is dying. So be cruel to the dying? Okay when did you give up the basic human respect card?
Deanna,
I will pray for you. It is not just the spiritual maturity of your family people retreat from death because they are afraid if it. They love you and don't want to lose you hide in grief you are not alone and never are. God be with you

Hey Deanna. The best information I can give you is to pray and pray hard. It is what God has called us to do when the going gets tough. Sometimes I feel this way with my dad's side of the family, some of them are not following Chirst. The best I can do for you is pray. So from now on I will keep you and your family in my prayers. God bless you.

Please read Psalms 139 - this has been my encouragement when I have something on my mind. It is not a scripture about healing but about the fact that God is with you. Once you can rest in knowing that God is with you through this time, you will be peaceful in knowing that GOD CAN heal your body. God sees, God knows, and God cares. There is no situation or feeling that you face that He doesnt know. 'Trust in the Lord, and be of good courage'. Dont let what is going on with you take your focus away from standing in awe of who God is. He sent His Son to provide your healing. Remember Jesus' sacrifice. You are not alone-- God is with you.

Just remember that YOU as the christian are being watched by your family as an example of what a true christian is or should be. So take extra care EACH DAY to be Patient, Long Suffering, Kind, Loving, and the rest of "the Fruits of the Spirit" Remember, its not just your family that's watching but the spirit world too. They are cheering you on giving you strength when you need it.

Dan, may I encourage you in the Lord. Also if you get a chance check out www.onlinebaptist.com they have scripture continually on their portal page that will be most encouraging for you.

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
