Ok heres what i did. Do it at night
Thick layer of Mayo (not fat free) in the hair, cover with a shower cap, and leave in for an hour. Then wash it out and use a deep conditioner (I used some left over from a hair color kit) as a leave in conditioner and go to bed with your hair still wet. When you wake up take another shower to wash it out so you don't have greasy, nasty looking hair all day. Then go out and get Matrix Biolage color care shampoo (it is hydrationg), Biolage ultra hydrating conditioning balm, and Biolage spray in leave in shine milk.
Don't use metal straightners, they break your hair. Use ceramic.
Also when ever you can try to let your hair dry naturally. Any time you aren't going out just let it be. If you have to blow it out, try to let it air dry until it is just damp and then use a lower heat. Don't put your hair up too often either, it breaks the hair... especially if you wear it up to bed.
DO NOT USE PANTEEN it drys your hair and rips out color (alcahol content is very high). Garnier doesn't work very well either.Just get rid of the crappy $5 shampoo's and conditioners. As much as it sucks since Biolage isn't cheap.... it works well! I didn't want to waste the money on it again but then in the end I went back to it and my hair dresser couldn't believe the results.

i had the same problem. my hair was very wavy and i was constantly fighting it by using extensive amounts of products and hair sprays and hair straightners. anything that would get my hair to be straight, and all it did was damage my hair even more then it already was. that and i was constantly dying my hair, like every 3 months a new shade. the first thing i found very helpful was getting my hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks to get rid of the damaged ends. then i either used a hot oil treatment or deep conditioned once a week. this really brought my hair back to life. becuase i got rid of all the dead ends. then i bought a new straightner. the remmington wet to straight straighter. it allows me to only blow dry my hair about 75% and then just straighten and style my hair so that i wasnt takign out all the moisture. and ive been following this routine for about 1 year and a half now and all i have to say is im loving my hair now its healthy and shiny again. (plus i can still color my hair and not worry tooo much about damage =])

Something that will help tremendously with your dry hair would be moisture treatments! I have the same problem from coloring and bleaching and I use Redken Clear Moisture. It contains apricot oil which puts the moisture back into your hair...you will feel the results even after the first time using it! Good luck.

Infusium 23 is the perfect product. They've got shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment. Give all three a try. I believe they have one specifically for moisturizing, but even the originall formula should be a great help.

make sure you give your hair a hot oil treatment once a week, also here are some hair tips. wash your hair is warm water then turn the water up as hot as you can stand it rinse your hair then put in conditioner let it set for 2 minutes then rinse your hair with luke warm water then shock your hair with really cold water
try CHOLESTEROL hair conditioning treatment and use THERMASILK products and maybe infusium leave in conditioner

it is not irreversible. u can use products with jojoba in them and that will help, washing your hair regularly will help keep it healthy and some shampoos and conditioners have jojoba in them too. Also when u straighten your hair use a heat protection spray and that will allow u to still straighten your hair without damaging it but give it a break sometimes.
