What does "Puta" mean? and do Puerto Ricans have a different meaning than Mexicans?

Puta means whore in all Latin American countries, Which is amazing with how screwed up that language is, as you can see from some of the answers. By the B****H is the same in Spanish as it is in English which is Perra- a female dog.
