Life doesn't exist without a spiritual dimension.
However, I can say that my life without AWARENESS OF a spiritual dimension was hell.

Well I'm an atheist so I suppose it's been going great, but I don't know if you would consider that not being spiritual or not. It depends on how you classify being spiritual.

There never was nor will there ever be such a time. We are spiritual beings having a human experience... not human beings who occasionally have a spiritual being. Changes things...no?

Well, my life IS...Wonderful, in the sense of the word "full of wonder." Beautiful, that I appreciate every moment. Fascinating from the joy of discovery I find in science and other ways of seeing the world.
I do not need religion to feel any of these things.
