neither one of you are ready for a serious relationship, how can you trust each other?

I went through something similar, except I was the one who cheated to get even with my boyfriend at the time. We ended up dating for about 3 1/2 years, but it was never the same. I think that once you cheat (or are cheated on, for that matter) the trust in the relationship is completely gone. You (and him) will always be wondering and doubting; and a relationship can not thrive in that situation. Enjoy yourself while you can, forgive him if you want...but just know that it's probably not going to work out in the long run...

well, it depends. if you have ever heard of the show " Grounded for Life " 2 characters, Lily and Brad, have the same problem. Brad went away to space camp for 1 month. Brad made out with a girl there and didn't even think that his girlfriend would care. there is one cheat. then Lily found out and started trying to get back at him by asking a guy out that worked at the nearest coffee shop. but when Brad got back they started dating again. try and relate to this and see if it works out!!!

he is probably scared that you will also do it again. i live by the old adage that once a cheater always a cheater. start new with somebody else. AND DONT CHEAT!!!!!!!!!! if you feel the need to cheat then you dont belong with the person you are with.

Well if the trust is broken and cant be fixed between you two, then keeping the relationship is incredibly hard. You have to have trust in a relationship in order for it to grow strong and last.
