You should think about a relaxer... its a chemical treatment that straightens your hair for about two months at a time and if not that than pomades are pretty good, they help straighten your hair easier and they protect against heat damage.

when you are going to straighten your hair first apply oil that helps with the heat, you can find these oils or serums in any drug store at the hair care aisle. these kinds of oils help prevent damage from straightening irons or curling irons.

Definitely use a hair product that protects against heat styling! I use Tresseme before I blow dry while my hair is still wet and then once again before I straighten.

I use Beyond the Zone pro formula hair protectant and get it from Sally Beauty (www.sallybeauty.com).

Ceramic flat irons are better, and ion type are the best. Also the wet/dry models do more harm to your hair and damage it....

if your determined to straighten your hair and is the way you want to do it then dont let any one stop you!... the best way is the old fashioned way.. use the old brown paper routine...hehe...it worked for all my sisters when they were growing up...and is cheap and stops you putting harmful chemicals into ur beautiful hair... and u dont have to have the iron set too high to do it.... the brown paper absorbs any heat that isnt required... : )

you could buy a ceramic iron so that it won't damage your hair that much. Being beautiful hurts in some ways.

Basically, you'll fry your hair if you straighten your hair everyday, or in your case allot. Don't straighten so much, and try some shampoo and conditioner that straighens your hair.

use THERMASILK hair products(shampoo conditioner hair spray or gel) it really works also give your hair a hot oil treatment once a week or use that hair stuff called CHOLESTEROL I think it is a Queen Helene brand and make sure you get your hair trimmed every once in a while to prevent your hair from splitting any further up the shaft.
