I have about 16 ears of cooked corn from a barbecue, and would like to freeze them to use next month.

You can try freezing them but i doubt they will taste the same as when they are cooked fresh that same day. Especially considering that you plan on leaving them sit in the freezer for about a month. Try it once and you'll know from there onwards

Yes you can
as long as
it's cooked or parboiled and wrapped well.

For fresh sweet corn:
Clean well and remove all silk. Cut off top of cob. Wash, blanch a few cobs at a time for 5-7 minutes, depending on size. Chill in iced water 5-7 minutes. Drain and wrap each cob in plastic wrap. Pack in freezer bags, remove air, label and seal. Freeze up to 6 months.

yes u can. It's easy. I see them in supermarkets too. First, you put it in a plastic bag. Put it in the freezer to let it freeze. Next month, put the corn in the microwave. Put it 4 around 3 or 4 minutes. If still not cooked, cook it for 1 or 1:30 more minutes.

You put it in a small pot of water and boil it. About 10-15 minutes will work. And just wondering.. who would give you a frozen corn cob thats a pretty strange gift lol

Yes. In fact, the frozen corn on the cob you purchase at the store is blanched (slightly cooked in boiling water) before it is frozen. All frozen veggies are.

Yes you can......Just blanch it for a few minutes don't cook the ears of corn all the way. Cool, dry off and put them in a freezer bag. But you said they are already cooked...Just put them in the freezer bag, date the bag and use within 6 months. Just promise me that you won't reheat them in the microwave. ICK!!!! Boil them. If you nuke them they get all wrinkled and shriveled ICKKYYYYY...

When you freeze it you will lose the moisture content in the corn kernels. When you go to reheat it, it will be wrinkly and gross.
