My older sister bf has been wit each other for 2 yrs ever sense katrina hit we moved and he came and he has been acting abusive verbal and physical calls her names and dosent let her do any thing and always think she is cheating what should she do?

This is a huge problem and it happens more than most want to believe. I know how this situation can be hard to deal with because it has happened to family members of my own. He abuses her than says he is sorry and he wont do it again only to do it again. she loves him and thinks he is mostly good and thinks he will change. He has her in a controlled fear and although she hates the abuse she is scared to leave. Abuse like this happens by the abuser promising he can always find her and her can never escape him.
now what to do is pretty simple.
one she calls the police and have him placed under arrest for assault.
two she packs her things and goes some place safe that he doesn't know about.
three she needs to seek professional help so they can direct her in how to handle her fear of him and how to heal from his abuse.
Staying with him will only get worse it will never improve. many women never do anything and they end up broken down completely or they go crazy and kill the abuser and end up in prison themselves or they end up dead. None of them change the abuser because they can not change.
I do hope she ends this nightmare before something worse happens.

If he is being physically abusive, she needs to call the cops a press charges. Either way she needs to get out of the relationship. It doesn't matter what she says about loving this guy or anything like that, if he is abusive, there is no love in the relationship.

Its guys like him who give men a wrong image. Guys who hit their girls arent exactly men, they cowards trying to hide security issues. I suggest that she needs to call the cops and then dump him. try not to wait for something bad to happen and then call the cops. How can she dream of a future with a guy who hits her, its not worth it.
