I agree with you. If some one doesn't have knowledge of something they should keep their mouth shut. Some-times they want to push their "virtues" on others. I really hate this because pushing a view does not open a topic to discussion. If the person doesn't drink they may have a good reason, but apart from having medical information to share any thing else they have to offer is coming from some one who doesn't know what they are talking about and should be ignored... but that's just my opinion -- and opinions are like anal perforations > everyone has one.

(maybe they're desperate for 2 points - as if points really mattered)

Probably because the non-drinkers are more likely to have decided that drinking was not for them because they actually took the time to sit back and do some research on the topic, there by making them credible sources on the topic of alcohol... Its a bit far fetched but its a possibility!

No. too a lot faux propaganda is extensively believed about marijuana. anybody is indoctrinated to trust all unlawful drugs are unlawful because it really is for the more advantageous good of the instantly ahead guy. this isn't real. Marijuana is saved unlawful frequently using economic income for the authorities (what number harmless pot those who smoke are filling up our jails and paying huge fines?) also, assorted people drink, and they does no longer favor to provide up their alcohol. they'd be in denial about how heavy ingesting impacts them, yet alcohol might want to no longer be outlawed both. it would only be yet another Prohibition/Al Capone difficulty.

Because they are morons and seem to want to preach to every drinker in the world that they dont drink.

Or they think that if they insert their ideals into it someone will have a epiphany and suddenly decide to quit drinking.

But the most likely reason is they are mentally hadicapped and just want the whole world to know they dont drink. Even though nobody cares.

Why do think people have to drink alcohol in order to answer a question about alcohol? You don't need experience in this area to have knowledge.

Because they think they are better than you for not drinking but also want you to think they are a" Nice" person. These may be the same people who when asked for a light will tell you "I don't smoke".

I'm not sure they're actually answering the question. I drink excessively but have a nice day.

Gotta expect it. This is an open forum. Askers and answerers are not screened. Seems that lots of people respond to questions they really know very little about. Can be funny sometimes.
