Im a 16 yr old dude, with curlyish dark brown hair.
i wanna do something cool with it, like maybe make it lighter or something.
yall know any like home recipies or anything that i can bleach my hair with?

dont dye it. spritz some lemon juice on it to lighten it naturally and it won't look fake. Go out in the sun for a LLOOOONG time and let the lemon juice do it's work. you can also buy sun lighteners @ the salon, but they don't work as well.

Putting lemon juice on the parts that you want to bleach and sitting out in the sun will make it go lighter. You might have to do it a few times to get it the way you want but it does work. Good luck.

I'd recommend not using straight peroxide or it'll be white blonde and not sun-in, because on dark brown hair it tends to go to more of an orange tint...not blonde.
I'd use a dye kit, a few shades lighter...

Saying that... I think you're TOO young, but if it helps, I'd suggest U go 2 a professional... If U do "home" stuff 2 your hair, you'd end up hating it, TRUST ME. If you're willing 2 change your "style", PLEASE go 2 a professional! ;0)

alot of girls actually like guys with curly hair so i wouldn't do anything about that. i don't think there are any homemade recipies, if you want to color it for cheap buy the stuff from the store, it works if you know how to do it right.

Well, if you really want it light, BLEACH it.
But if you don't, my mom told me that she used to use beer and/or yogurt to lighten her hair. Lemon juice also works, but it kind of gets your hair all gross if you put too much in.

i suggest a profesional hair stylist to bleach your hair!!!! you might spend a little more but you'll be guarranted a great new look with out any do it your self mistakes.

Try lemon juice. It is supposed to give you highlights. (Just don't get it in your eyes, not that your dumb enough to... but anyway) Good Luck!

I hope your hair is shaggy too. i love that. The curly shaggy look. You should dye it blonde or black.
