Well it isn't what would be normal by what most people do, but it is how all of us should think like. I think that we live with a lot of problems we create ourselves. we rush in and out of relationships like it isn't anything. and to most everyone this is normal behavior. If being indifferent and finding our own happiness, like apparently you have is odd then I would rather be odd.
So yeah I tip my hat to you for being different in your way of thinking and I agree with you 100%.

I don't think that is selfish at all, if that is what they want and chose to do. Having children isn't for everyone. I think it would be more selfish to have a child and not care for it, love it, treasure the blessing that God gave them, to me that would be more selfish, than not having one. Just my opinion, of course.

You need to do what makes you happy in your life, no matter what people say or think. This is the only life you'll have,so make the most of it. It is neither odd, nor selfish.

In my opinion, that is YOUR OWN CHOICE.. and it is not selfish.
To me its selfish to LIE to someone and marry them letting them tthink there is a chance you might want to start a family (*knowing deep down you never will, and letting that person get older and than, breaking up or divorcing without a family.)
Be true and honest to yourself and others.
But TELL THE TRUTH...ALWAYS..
Good Luck...and you too be Blessed!

Be single if you want to be.Many people actaually do that and really isnt that an easier life than it would be to have a child or children that you don't want to have. Its not selfish, its smart.

Of course not! Some people would call that selfless, not selfish. It is a choice--not a requirement-- to have children.

try asking yourself the reason - i for instance opted to stay without a guy for the last year (almost) and it has been devastating for me.
WHY stay alone? I had a traumatic experience and needed time to clear things out - but i don't know, aren't you young?
I'd be interested to know...

Nope, to each his own. If that person is happy, society has no right to suggest that they aren't simply because they lack a spouse and kids!

SINGLE AND CHILDLESS; OR ATTACHED AND CHILDLESS. MANY SAY YOU WILL MISS OUT-PERHAPS.
ISN'T IT AMAZING HOW NUMEROUS LIVE OUT THE AMERICAN DREAM (including the baby thing). AS TIME PROGRESS, THEY REALIZE THEY NEVER WANTED THE RESPONSIBILITY OF RAISING BABY. THIS IS VERY SELFISH. BECAUSE, THIS CHILD CAN SEE AND FEEL THE NEGLECT.

if you're happy it is not odd. But you must feel that you want someone who is caring you can share the rest of your life with.
